Thahab is owned and operated by Thahab.Com Co. WLL and Thahab for the Trade of Jewelry, Precious Stones and Metals Co. WLL, for its own benefit and the benefit of its affiliates and subsidiaries.

We recommend a perusal of the Terms & Conditions (T&C) on Thahab before the use of its services. The terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time without notification. We request that you check them often for updates. If you don’t wish to comply with any of the listed terms, you may not use the website. Once you place an order on the website, you accept the latest terms and conditions listed on the site. Please note that changes made in the T&C after you’ve placed your order will not be applicable to your order unless the law enforces it.

Eligibility

Thahab is free for use to anyone who is at least 18 years of age, can make a payment through one of our accepted payment methods and agrees to the Terms & Conditions listed on the site. Thahab website and services are for personal and gifting use only and their use for commercial purposes is not permitted. Thahab reserves the right to refuse services if it suspects commercial or illegal use.

Registration

Thahab allows you to shop as a guest on the website but to avail its benefits in entirety, you are requested to register on the website. During registration, you are required to provide true information about yourself in all respects. In case there’s a change in the details, please update them immediately on [email protected].

After registration, it’s your responsibility to keep your account details and password confidential. Thahab support services will never ask you for a password. We are not liable for any loss suffered as a result of misuse of your registration details. Should you believe that there has been a breach of account security, please contact us immediately.

By registering or placing an order on the website, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria described above and that all the information you’ve provided to us is true. Since commercial use of the site is not permitted, commercial entities are not allowed to register with us. If Thahab suspects that any of the information provided by you is untrue or inaccurate, it reserves the right to deactivate your account.

Orders

By placing an order on Thahab, you confirm that all the details provided by you are true and that you meet the eligibility criteria listed in the T&Cs.

When you place an order on the site you agree to buy the bag items at the price indicated including any shipping fee, taxes and duties wherever applicable. While we strive to ensure that all details and prices listed on the website are correct, there may be instances of erroneous information. In case we find a fault in the pricing of items you’ve ordered, we will give you an option of cancelling the order or reconfirming it with the correct price. If you choose to cancel the order, the full amount will be refunded to you within two weeks.

You can’t reserve an item on Thahab. However, you may place an advance order for certain items that are available for pre-order. Pre-orders require advance payment to ensure that you receive the item on priority. All pre-order items and special items are non-refundable under any circumstances. Delays in delivery does not constitute a valid reason to cancel or refund a pre-order or special order. Only if, for any reason, we are completely unable to deliver the pre-order merchandise, we will refund the entire amount to the original source of payment within two weeks.

If certain items are not in stock and you have registered for their arrival notification, we may notify you about their arrival via e-mail within 48 hours of the products being active on the site. In rare instances, a product may be available when you place an order but sold out by the time we process the order. We shall notify you if this happens and promptly work to resolve the matter. Thahab is in no way liable to you or any other party should the item you ordered be unavailable beyond refunding the amount paid for that product only.

After placing your order on the site, please check the details to ensure that the items listed are correct in terms of size, color and quantity. You’re solely responsible for the information provided in the order.

Orders placed on Thahab are subject to acceptance and availability. Orders will be rejected in instances of ineligibility, inability to authorize payment, suspected fraud, shipping restrictions and stock availability. Thahab holds the right to reject an offer of purchase at any time at its own discretion.  

Receipt and confirmation of your order will be acknowledged by e-mail. Only Thahab has the authority to confirm the acceptance of your order. The client will not hold Thahab liable for any damages whatsoever should Thahab be unable to fulfill an order, in whole, in parts, or correctly.

Payment

You can currently make a payment on Thahab using either a debit or credit card. We accept all major cards (Visa, MasterCard, Diner’sClub, American Express). We also support payments through Paypal. ‘Cash on Delivery’ is only available for orders delivered in Kuwait with the condition that a non-refundable deposit amount is pre-paid. Please note that a non-refundable fee of 20 KD will apply to all orders below 200 KD and 20% on all items above 200 KD for Cash-on-Delivery.

Your card is charged after you place an order on the website. When you use a card to place an order on Thahab, you validate yourself as its owner or confirm that you have been authorized by the owner of the card to use it. All card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment, Thahab will not be liable for order cancellation.

We are not responsible nor liable to you for any foreign exchange fees which our or your bank or any payment processor or third party charges you when placing or refunding an order on Thahab.

Thahab reserves the right to decline orders without liability to you where it believes that payments are not authorized, the payment method is invalid or where it thinks you are not authorized to use the payment method. Thahab may also, at its own discretion, choose to cancel any order, especially ‘Cash on Delivery’ orders where the amount due is not paid.

Thahab takes transaction security very seriously. We do not store your card or payment details anywhere. Our transactions are processed through Knet and Cybersource through NBK (National Bank of Kuwait) that encrypt your card data in a secure environment and through TAP and PayPal. We also use advanced server security software with SSL encryption to provide a secure transmission of your card details. Trusted, legally authorized partners are responsible for ensuring that your payment details remain secure during the transaction.

We take utmost care to keep your payment details secure however, complete security is in no way guaranteed and we we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorized access to the data you provide when accessing or ordering from the site.

Currency

Although you can view currency conversions on the website while shopping, they are just indicative of the latest exchange rate. All transactions at checkout occur in Kuwaiti Dinar (KD), United States Dollars (USD), British Pounds (GBP), Euros, or Emirati Dirhams (AED). If your debit/credit card is not denominated in KD, the final amount will be charged based on the applicable exchange rate on the day your payment card issuer concludes the transaction.

We are not responsible nor liable to you for any foreign exchange fees which our or your bank or any payment processor or third party charges you when placing or refunding an order on Thahab.

Returns & Exchanges

Thahab makes an effort to ship items to you as soon as possible. Therefore, Thahab does not allow order cancellations. We only offer the ability to return an order after you have received it provided full compliance with with the Return Policy.

Return policy

If you’re dissatisfied with your purchase please place a return request via email at [email protected] All returns should be requested via email before you ship the item(s) back to us. This allows us to process your return request quickly. If you send us your item(s) without placing a return request to us via email and receiving our approval to review the Return Request and send the product to us, we will be obliged to ship the item(s) back to you at your own expense and your return request will automatically be rejected.

Kindly ensure your items are returned in original condition. Returns that do not comply with our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.

  • All items should be returned in their original packaging in perfect condition.
  • Return items and all their packaging items should be unused, unaltered and in pristine condition with all tags attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled, used or returned without their original tags and packaging will not be accepted and will be shipped back to you at your own expense. You will also be responsible to cover the cost of the return shipping to us that was consumed to send us the item as well as any associated taxes, duties and/or other fees.
  • Most items can be returned within 14 days, however, there are exceptions (mentioned below).
  • For Evening wear, Shoes, Jewelry, Accessories, and Sunglasses, the Return Request must be placed within 24 hours.
  • For high-value items, the Return Request must be placed within 24 hours.
  • Some high-value items such as fine jewelry, rare bags and other items are non-refundable, and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • All outlet and sale items once purchased are non-refundable.
  • Customized and refurbished items can’t be returned or refunded.
  • Special order items cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Pre-Order items cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Perfumes, make-up, cosmetics, skin care, lingerie and swimwear once purchased, can’t be returned or refunded.
  • Return should be made through the same shipment service as for the original delivery (DHL for international orders or Thahab Logistics for orders in Kuwait), unless otherwise approved by THAHAB in writing.
  • Returns should be made from the location where they were received; in case you’re returning your shipment from a different location, please contact our Thahab concierge and place a request.

SHOES

Shoes should be tried on a carpeted surface and be returned in their original condition. There shouldn’t be any damage to the sole of the shoe or the box of the shoe. Return Requests for shoes must be placed within 24 hours.

BEAUTY & SKINCARE

Please note that perfumes, make-up, cosmetics, skin care items etc. are non-returnable.

LINGERIE & SWIMWEAR

Products like bras, briefs, swimming trunks, swimsuits and bikini bottoms etc. can’t be returned.

TECHNOLOGY

Technology products should be returned in the original packaging with all the accessories and warranty cards received with them. Items returned without their original seals as they were delivered will not be accepted or reviewed for returns.

Damaged goods

If you receive a damaged item, you can return it for a full refund. On reception of a damaged item, please immediately contact our Thahab concierge immediately for assistance at [email protected], or call +965-97357777. The Thahab team will assess your request and will confirm to you whether or not the item can be considered a damaged item or whether or not it has been delivered to you damaged. Thahab has the final and conclusive say over this and is not liable to you in any way should Thahab deem that the item is not damaged (or not damaged by Thahab) and will not be liable to you in anyway beyond refunding the value of the damaged item after it has been received back by Thahab in the same condition it was shipped. Please include pictures of the damaged item when writing to us to help us solve the problem quickly.

Repeated Returns

We offer an easy return policy and monitor the number of returns made by customers. Accounts with recurrent returns will be flagged, denied requests or deactivated at Thahab’s discretion. Please note that we do not offer free returns. You will be responsible for all costs associated with returning an order including but not limited to, all shipping fees, all taxes, all customs, all duties.

Return Process

To initiate a Return Request, please submit a return request via email at [email protected]

All returns should be requested via email before the shipping of the item(s) to us. This allows us to process the return request quickly. If you send us your items without placing a return request to us via email and receiving a confirmation that we can review your request, we are obliged to ship them back to you.

Your item(s) will be checked upon receipt by Thahab to ensure they meet our return conditions and you will be duly notified if the return request has been approved or denied.

You can determine the eligibility of your item(s) for return by contacting our customer service team via email or telephone at +965 97357777. The team will be able to inform you whether or not the item(s) are eligible for return or if the return period for the item has expired.

Please note that Thahab does not offer free returns. You will be responsible for all costs associated with returning an order including but not limited to, all shipping fees, all taxes, all customs, all duties. This also applies if your Return Request is rejected.

Exchanges

Thahab currently doesn’t offer an option of exchange. If you would like a new product in place of your return, we suggest you place a new order.

Refunds

If Thahab approves your return request, your refund will be credited to the original payment source and will exclude any associated costs such as but not limited to shipping, taxes, duties, customs costs. Customs duties and taxes are non-refundable. Please note that returns will be submitted through the same customs procedures, therefore are applicable for duty and tax again, which you will be responsible to cover.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the website is owned by Thahab or it’s partners or the Brands. Everything including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software (including the presentation and compilation) is protected by international copyright laws as well as by relevant laws concerning copyright, authors’ rights and database right laws.

Except where explicitly stated to the contrary, all persons (including their names and images), third party trademarks and images of third party products, services and/or locations featured on the website are in no way associated, linked or affiliated with us. Any trademarks/names featured on the website are owned by the respective trademark owners.

Your use of the site and its contents does not allow you to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, access, modify, or otherwise exploit, the content in full or in part, for any purpose without our prior written consent. You can use the content only when explicitly authorized by Thahab or its third party licensors in writing. Thahab tries to ensure that all the information on the site is accurate; however, Thahab doesn’t guarantee that the information is error-free. Thahab also doesn’t guarantee its immunity to viruses or other harmful components. It’s suggested that you have an updated anti-virus software when browsing the website.

Thahab hosts and sells designer labels from around the world, however, it doesn’t associate with the views of the designers, labels or any third party vendors. Views expressed in the articles or videos on Thahab solely belong to the author/people in the video and don’t have a bearing on Thahab’s views.

If you post or comment on Thahab, or on any other platform about Thahab, you are solely responsible for the content. By posting or commenting on the site, or about Thahab on any other site, you grant Thahab all rights to republish and repurpose the content in all kinds of media. Thahab also holds the right to delete or not publish any comment that it deems inappropriate.

Linking & Third Party Sites

You may link our website but only in a lawful way and without damaging our reputation. If Thahab considers the linking inappropriate and asks you to remove it, you must do it right away. Thahab holds the right to withdraw the linking permission at any time.

Thahab holds no responsibility for all the third party content it hosts on its website. The sites are only for consumer convenience and we are not accountable for the accuracy of their content. We have not evaluated or examined the content of these websites and are in no way responsible for any loss or damage caused by these resources. You agree to be a part of the communications Thahab sends across in any form or media. While registering on the website you agree to receive all promotional communications sent forth by us. You are free to opt out of these e-mails by clicking on the unsubscribe link embedded in the communication.

No Warranty

Thahab does not warranty the reliability or accuracy of any information including images, content, audio, music etc. provided on or through the use of the site. We don’t assure that the site is without errors or that its use is steady and undisturbed. When using the website you confirm that you use it at your own risk. If you download any content from the website, you do it at your own risk. You are solely responsible for any damage or loss caused by downloading of any information from the website or third party links.

The website may lack data integrity and be vulnerable to delays. The website may also be unavailable for use from time to time due to maintenance or development work. Membership Termination

Thahab reserves the right to withdraw, limit or terminate your use of the website without any notice or citation of reason.

Limitations & Liabilities

We are not responsible for losses that arise in the absence of our negligence. We are also not liable for failure to meet any of our obligations listed under the T&C when the failure is due to reasons beyond our control.

Manufacturing Defects

Certain products purchased from Thahab have a manufacturer’s warranty and are hence replaceable under the warranty. Please contact our Thahab concierge immediately if you believe that the product you received has a manufacturing defect.

Cancellation

We do not offer the ability to cancel an order after you have successfully placed it on Thahab. If you wish to cancel your order, wait for its delivery and then follow the return process.

Pricing Policy

Prices of products listed on the Thahab website are exclusive of all shipping costs, duties and taxes. However, the price of the item along with the shipping charge will be displayed at the checkout. Shipping charges are determined based on the size of the order and the country the order is being shipped to. If the courier company bills us an amount larger than the amount which you would have paid at the time of your order, we will notify you and confirm if you want to pay the difference required by DHL in order to ship your order or if you wish to cancel your order.

Since we do not charge customs, duties or taxes on our site, all orders will be shipped to you Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU), meaning you could be charged for the import duties, customs, or taxes of your country upon your receipt of the order. We suggest that you inquire about the final price of goods after they arrive at your destination from your local customs office, before making a purchase.

Thahab gives you an option of selecting your preferred currency on the website; however, these prices are just indicative of the exchange rate. The final transaction occurs in Kuwaiti Dinar (KD) and if your debit/credit card is not denominated in KD, the final amount will be calculated based on the applicable exchange rate on the day your payment card issuer processes the transaction. We are not responsible nor liable to you for any foreign exchange fees which our or your bank or any payment processor or third party charges you when placing or refunding an order on Thahab.

Promotion Codes

Thahab occasionally runs promotions and you may receive a promotion code via e-mail or through other advertising sources.

Please note that these promotional codes are non-transferable and can’t be redeemed for cash. Each code has an expiry date, which is usually stated in the details of the promotion and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offer. Only one promotion code can be used per order.

When a promotion code is applied to an order, the discount value is distributed across all the items which the code is applicable toward. So, if you return an item from such an order, the refund will amount to the price paid by you after the discount. The discount will not be refunded.

If you manage to apply a promotion code to an order or item where it should not be applicable per internal policies of Thahab, Thahab will notify you and will offer you the ability to pay the difference required or to cancel the order and refund the amount back to you. Thahab will not be liable to you in any way and will not be obliged to fulfill said order.

No Commercial Use

The content on Thahab is strictly for your personal use. You can’t use it for any commercial benefit. This site, or any of its content shouldn’t be used to further any commercial purpose.

Delivery

Thahab strives to deliver your purchases in excellent condition as quickly as possible, but it is to be noted that the delivery times mentioned on the site are only estimates. We aim to deliver your order within 30 days from the date of order acceptance (this does not relate to special order or pre-order items), however we take no responsibility of the time taken at the customs office of the destination country.

Insurance

Thahab takes responsibility of your order only until the time it has been delivered to your shipping address as you have listed it in your order (or via email or via Whatsapp or SMS should you have requested to change your address). After the order is delivered to the address noted in the shipping address, the responsibility passes on to you or to the person listed in the shipping address. Thahab uses credible international courier companies such as DHL and FedEx to fulfill international orders. Signature upon delivery may or may not be required for delivery. If you want us to require signature upon delivery, you must notify us in writing either via email or include the request to require a signature at delivery in the “Order Notes” section at checkout where you can include any instructions you wish to request of us. We will convey this request to the courier company but please note that due to the constraints of the current global pandemic, this service is not guaranteed. We are not in any way responsible for any loss, damage or theft at the address after the courier marks the package as delivered at the address.

Deliveries in Kuwait

Same-day delivery is available for some (not all) items in Kuwait for orders placed before 4pm (except Fridays and Saturdays). Kindly note that as some items are sourced from our global network of boutiques, delivery times may take 4-7 days. If you would like to confirm whether the item(s) you are interested in are available for same-day or next day delivery before you place your order, you may contact our concierge service at [email protected] or via telephone / WhatsApp at +965-97357777. Orders placed after 12 pm on business days will be dispatched the next day. Shipping is free for orders above 200 KD, and a small shipping fee of 5 KD is applicable for orders that don’t meet the specified order value. Please note that this fee is a promotional/discounted shipping fee and is not indicative of what will be charged to you in the case of a return. In the case of a return, you will be responsible to cover all associated consumed fees at their non-promotional values. If you fail to receive your order after two delivery attempts, we will cancel the order, deduct any associated costs we would have incurred and refund the rest to the original source of payment.

International Deliveries

We deliver worldwide in partnership with DHL. We aim to deliver our orders to you in the minimum time possible (3-7 working days normally). Kindly note that as we are operating under the constraints of the CoVID-19 Pandemic, delivery timings are not guaranteed and can take much longer than usual. THAHAB is not responsible in any way for delays caused by our courier partners. PO boxes are not serviceable. Kindly note that it may not be possible to collect a signature upon delivery. This is controlled by your local authorities or the courier company. Should you wish to require signature upon delivery, please convey this request to Thahab in writing via email or via the “Order Notes” section of the checkout page. We will respond to you promptly via email to inform you if it will be possible to fulfill your request. We will convey this request to the delivery courier but it is not guaranteed that this request will be fulfilled. Thahab will not be liable for any loss, damage or theft that may take place after the order has been marked delivered at the address by the courier.

Shipping charges will be added to your bag during checkout.

We don’t charge any taxes or duties but you might have to pay them during delivery to the DHL person if customs have been charged in your country.

Please coordinate with DHL for successful delivery. If you fail to collect your order during delivery or the courier is unable to deliver the item at your address due to your actions (or inaction), we shall cancel the order and refund the order value after deducting any applicable shipping, customs, duties and taxes charges that we have incurred as part of your order or while attempting to fulfill your order.

Please note the below description and charges associated with shipping orders to destinations that DHL determines as “Restricted Areas“:

RUSSIA Please note that all orders to Russia must be addressed to a registered company as DHL is not able to send packages to individuals in Russia without a registered company listed as the shipping address recipient. Any return requests from Russia must also be shipped back from a legally registered company in Russia.

ELEVATED RISK DESTINATIONS: A surcharge of 7 KD per shipment is applied when shipping to a destination country DHL is operating in at elevated risk due to continuous state of war, civil unrest, or continuous threats from terrorism. Destination countries affected: Afghanistan, Burundi, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

RESTRICTED DESTINATIONS: A surcharge of 10 KD per shipment will apply when shipping to a destination country that is subject to trade restrictions imposed by the UN Security Council. Countries in scope: Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.

TUNIS: For orders placed with a Shipping Address in Tunis, Self-clearance will be required by the consignee.

User Generated Content

When commenting, writing feedback or a review on Thahab you take full responsibility of the information you provide. By posting on the website or other media platforms associated with Thahab or any other platform, you give us full rights to use the content as we deem fit. Thahab also reserves the right to delete or remove any content posted by you if it considers it inappropriate.

Site Usage

By agreeing to the Terms & Conditions listed on Thahab, you confirm that you’ll not make an attempt to damage or impair the website. You also confirm not to use the site for any fraudulent or unlawful activities. Thahab isn’t liable for inaccurate information conveyed about the products due to technical errors or technical constraints.

Customer Rights
